Yes — I list and sell homes, and honestly this is where my new construction background matters the most. Selling while you're buying or building means juggling build schedules, close dates, and in some cases contingencies so you're not stuck carrying two homes or between them. Lining up that timeline is the hard part — and the part I've helped dozens of clients with before.
Sooner than most people think — as soon as you're starting is ideal. I've seen plenty of buyers wait until they're comparing options, only to find the best lots and homes are already spoken for; the ones who reach out early just have more room to choose. And from day one, you're building on everything I already know instead of starting from scratch.
Your situation and what you're looking to accomplish first — where you are now, where you want to land, what's pushing that timeline. Then whatever specifics you've got: areas, builders, homes, a budget. No shortlist required; the earlier and rougher, the more I can help shape it.

You don't. Early is actually a great time to reach out — the sooner we connect, the more of your search you're running on what I already know instead of guessing. If you'd rather poke around on your own first, BuiltBetterKC is one easy place to do that, but there's no such thing as reaching out too early.

A new home is one of the biggest decisions you'll make — you deserve a guide who's seen the whole board. The builder's team knows their own community well; I bring the view across all of them and stay in your corner the whole way. Here's what that looks like:

  • Someone on your side, start to finish — whether you're building from the ground up or buying a home that's already underway or finished, I'm with you through the contracts, incentives, inspections, timelines, and walkthroughs — the places it's easiest to overpay or miss something.
  • Every builder, not just one — I'm not tied to any single builder, so we weigh competing builders, communities, and timelines side by side. Your options shouldn't be limited to one, either.
  • A true apples-to-apples read — builders price and include things differently: base price, upgrades, lot premiums, incentives. Context is what keeps you from comparing the wrong things and missing real value.
  • Less legwork, more clarity — I'm in these homes and communities constantly, so you can skip weeks of touring and get straight to the options, context, and an honest read.
